Our recommendations:

Whatever the season, don't leave without sampling our beautiful region:

  • Go as far as the "Ferme de Pampille & cabris" on the road to Bilhac, just a few kilometres away, to buy goat's cheese and watch it being milked!  Stacy will welcome you and explain her job to you if time permits!  Children generally love it! Ask her about walnut oil too!
  • In Curemonte, stop off at "Lou pé de Gril" where François and Marie will be delighted to serve you jams, biscuits and aperitifs made from dandelions!
  • Taste "1001 Pierres" or "Côteaux de Glanes".

Here, we even make our own donkey milk cosmetics at "Domaine de Tamara" and enjoy fabulous horse-drawn carriage rides with Céline.

From the house, you can immediately join the hiking trails around Sioniac or to reach Beaulieu via the Fontaine Sainte Sardine...

An individual vehicle is recommended for getting around and reaching the centre of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, its shops and access to the river Dordogne.

It takes 5-6 minutes by car and 30-40 minutes on foot to reach the centre of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.

Cyclists and pedestrians beware, there is a steep climb from Beaulieu back to the house in Sioniac.
